I Am Sick and Tired of No Views Showing on My eBay Listings

As I reflect on my decision to leave eBay as a full-time business, I am filled with a sense of relief and happiness. While earning an okay amount of money for a newcomer was a significant milestone, the effort and frustrations that came with it were not worth the cost. The entire process was a hassle from start to finish – creating listings, managing inventory, dealing with a barrage of repetitive questions (most of which could be answered by simply reading the listing), shipping packages, and bookkeeping were all overwhelming tasks.

eBay also had a way of bringing out the crazies in people. I received my fair share of absurd emails from buyers, and the terrible experiences I had with them left me with a strong dislike for the platform. The feeling was exacerbated by the lack of recourse when I fell victim to scams – leaving negative feedback was the only way to express my dissatisfaction.

However, eBay's decision to remove the ability to leave negative feedback took things to a new level. This move was met with widespread anger from sellers who felt that it undermined their ability to hold buyers accountable for poor behavior. As someone who relied on selling digital products through eBay, this change had a significant impact on my income – not just because of the fees, but also due to the fact that they removed the ability to sell digital products altogether.

While I still occasionally list items on eBay for personal reasons, I try to avoid it whenever possible. The truth is, I no longer have a fondness for the platform like I once did. The constant changes and rising fees have taken their toll, and I am happy to be out of the fray. If you're feeling frustrated with eBay's ever-changing landscape and lack of visibility on your listings, take it from someone who knows – there are better options out there.
